Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to personal data when you visit reriseit.com or contact ReRiseIT ("we", "us"). It is deliberately short, because we collect very little.
1. What this website collects
This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and does not build a profile of you.
Our web server keeps standard access logs, which are generated automatically by any web server and are necessary to operate the site securely. Each entry may contain:
- your IP address;
- the date and time of the request;
- the page or file requested and the response status;
- the referring page and your browser's user-agent string.
These logs are used only to keep the service running and to investigate abuse or faults. They are retained for a maximum of 30 days and are then deleted. They are not sold, shared for marketing, or used to identify individual visitors.
2. Third-party resources
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests those font files directly from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and user-agent as part of that request. This is the only third party involved in serving this site. If you would prefer this not to happen, a browser extension that blocks third-party requests will stop it, and the site remains fully usable with fallback system fonts.
3. When you contact us
If you email hello@reriseit.com, we process the contents of your message and your email address in order to reply and, where relevant, to discuss and carry out work for you. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, if we go on to work together, the performance of a contract.
Correspondence is kept for as long as it is commercially relevant and, for completed engagements, for as long as required by applicable accounting and tax rules. We do not add you to a mailing list.
4. Client project data
When we build and operate software for a client, we may process data held inside that software on the client's behalf. In those cases the client is the data controller and we act as a processor under a separate written agreement, which governs the purposes, security measures, sub-processors and deletion terms. This website policy does not apply to that data.
5. Where data is processed
This website is hosted on dedicated infrastructure located in Germany (European Union). Email is handled by our email provider. We do not transfer visitor data outside the EU/EEA except as described in section 2.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@reriseit.com. We respond within 30 days.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Access to our servers is restricted to key-based administrative accounts, and systems are kept patched. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat any incident affecting personal data as a priority and will notify affected people and regulators where the law requires it.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting people we are already in contact with will be communicated by email.
